Our media specialist extraordinaire, Ms. Hinman, has been hard at work on this year's book fair! We have a new vendor, so you won't want to miss the variety of books and exciting new surprises.

We are 1 week away from Noodles and Numbers - our first ALL FREE event of the year!! Join us on Friday, September 14 from 5-8 pm!! Start the night with a free pasta dinner (from 5-6 pm), a super quick (we promise!) PTO meeting & follow up with a fun night of math games for all ages (from 6-8 pm), thanks to our friends at Mathnasium. Our membership drive is underway!! This year, we will have multiple membership levels (or you can stick with our basic $10 level!). We have some great new sponsors on our local discounts card, too, so that membership will pay for itself in no time flat!

We are happy to share that our friends at Murabella Animal Hospital are conducting a school supply drive to benefit local students. They are collecting supplies until August 10th at their location (3625 Pacetti Road). They can be reached at (904) 940-9401 if you have any questions! 🎤 Important information about entering the school! (If you're an existing parent, you probably already know this....)
📚 In order to go beyond the front desk of the school, you need to be registered as a volunteer with the county. This means: if you want to have lunch with your child in the cafeteria, if you want to visit the classroom for a holiday party/event, volunteer your time, visit the library, anything!!!
✅ You should only need to do it once and if you have questions if you're registered or not, call the school and ask (904-547-8730)!! This is NOT a PTO program, rather a school/district program but we want everyone to know!
⏰ It takes several weeks to get in the system, so register yourself! Tell the aunts/uncles/grandparents who might ever come too - they need to be registered too!!
School supply kits make your life easy!! Order online at http://www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks and use the code WAR132 to find all of the information for your student for the 2018-2019 school year! It doesn't matter who their teacher will be, supply lists are all the same for a grade level. The deadline to order is July 8th. Packs will be delivered to your house before school begins so you can sort and label if you want to! Also, the packs DO include brand name items - check each list for more information!! A portion of the proceeds from this sale go back to the PTO which means they go back to YOUR student and school!! We thank you for supporting the Wards Creek Warriors!!
